A summary regarding upgrades was previously posted; for the same reason, I saw many posts from colleagues talking about capacity expansion and upgrades – the aim being to find ways to keep their factories operational during this difficult time. Then I came across the following passage (original title: Study on the service life of urea plants – StamicoBaan Company, Green, Netherlands). . . . . . . . . For example, a factory can make the following changes. Install high-efficiency trays ; (This one has relevant equipment in use along with analysis data.) Install an N/C gauge (some factories use it on the synthesis output pipelines, and others on the raw material pipelines). Implement advanced process control (which is considered advanced by everyone). Install a tank-type condenser to reduce traditional steam consumption (there are manufacturers using this technology in China as well as those currently in the process of installing it).
