What special considerations should be taken when selecting pipes and valves for asphalt-based media?
During shutdown, check the wall thickness of the pipeline and whether there is pitch coke inside it； It is best to use stainless steel that is resistant to high temperatures and corrosion, such as 316L or higher grade ； The valve is a three-way plug valve with a jacket, capable of compressing packing, using carbon packing.
