My major is computer science, and if I want to pursue a career in chemical engineering software, which types of such software do you think have more potential/prospects in terms of financial rewards? Hehe.
The field of chemistry is vast, encompassing areas such as analysis and testing, data calculation, and chemical experiment simulation; there are many problems that need to be solved, and well, it’s up to you all to address them.

As far as I know, in China, companies that integrate computer technology well with chemical engineering include Aspen and Honeywell (both foreign-owned companies), as well as Dongfang Simulation; however, these roles require a certain foundation in chemistry and chemical engineering. If the original poster wants to pursue a career in this field, they can acquire more specialized knowledge. Good luck!
