I have a question~~~ What is the purpose of the instrument air at the bottom of the crankcase in a methane compressor? ? ? A very thin tube. Is it to prevent the shaft from sinking? What kind of principle? ?
Draw a simple flowchart; it will be easy for everyone to understand, and it will also help you analyze the problem! Otherwise, it’s pointless for everyone to just guess.
Is the poster sure it’s instrument air? Still the nitrogen line?
The head of this pipeline is fusible; there is a gap of 1–2 mm between it and the shaft. Once the shaft sinks and wears down the fusible element, the air pressure inside the thin tube decreases, which triggers an interlock mechanism in the control equipment to shut down the system
If I don’t understand, I just want to know whether this compressor is reciprocating, centrifugal, or some other type. But personally, I think what was said on the 5th floor makes a lot of sense. Currently, large-scale power plants place a high emphasis on security!
