Dear seniors, I would like to ask whether there are any requirements regarding gas temperature, pressure, and composition when using cyclone separators in coal gasification； Is it prone to wear by particles at high temperatures? Thank you
That’s all I know about the separation efficiency of cyclone separators: under design pressure and gas flow conditions, they can remove solid particles of ≥10μm in size. At the operating point, the separation efficiency is 99%, and within a range of ±15% of the operating point, it is 97%. Pressure drop: Under normal operating conditions, the pressure drop at the operating point for a single cyclone separator is not greater than 0.05 MPa. Design service life The design service life of the cyclone separator is not less than 20 years. Cyclone dust collectors are suitable for cleaning dry, non-sticky, non-fibrous dust with particle sizes larger than 1-3 microns. It is a purification device with a simple structure, easy operation, high temperature resistance, but higher equipment costs and resistance (80–160 mm of water column). Cyclone dust collectors are the most widely used type of purification device. Improved cyclone separators can replace exhaust gas filtration equipment in some installations.
