For 20wt/a of PVC, what area is required for the cooling and dehydration heat exchanger in the VCM unit’s mixer?
The mixer cooling and dehydration heat exchanger – does this device refer to the acetylene pre-cooler or the graphite cooler located after the mixer? For the mixer, we only provide insulation; no heat exchange takes place there.
It probably refers to the dehydration of the graphite cooler at the back. However, the heat exchange area should be determined on a case-by-case basis, taking into account factors such as the typical temperature of the chilled water in the company, and the actual moisture content of the materials.
