Which has better employment prospects, rubber or plastics?

My sister is studying polymer materials and now faces a choice regarding her specialization, with rubber and plastics being the two main options. Which of these two fields has better employment prospects? If pursuing a postgraduate degree, which universities are stronger in these two fields? I’m not familiar with this either; please ask those who know about it to help answer, thank you!
In the eastern region, employment in the plastics and rubber industries is quite good. Especially in the processing and manufacturing sector; however, the plastic industry is generally of small scale and has a low level of technological complexity. It is not recommended for girls to work in factories. Graduate students might consider Beijing University of Chemical Technology, Zhejiang University, and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, which are first-tier institutions; Qingdao University of Science and Technology, a second-tier institution, is also an excellent choice. Specific programs can be found on the websites of these universities. The major is good; you know which school your sister is attending. Since I have to choose a direction, I think it would be Qingdao University of Science and Technology.

In Shenyang, if you’re at Qingdao University of Science and Technology, it’s better to choose rubber-related fields; it’s not advisable to pursue rubber-related studies in Shenyang. In fact, synthetic materials are a good choice for study.
