Our factory designs urea production plants using the CO2 stripping method, with a daily capacity of 1,620 tons of urea. Last year, we began upgrading the high-pressure ammonia pumps and ammonium methoxide pumps, and added high-speed centrifugal pumps. This year, the ammonium pump has reached the installation phase, but the design department is still unable to determine the backflow rate. The high-pressure ammonia pumps and ammonium methoxide pumps are manufactured by the American company Stadion. The designed flow rate for the ammonium methoxide pumps is 26–48 m3/h; what should be the appropriate value for the backflow rate? I hope friends from similar factories that have undergone modifications can offer some help. . .

I am still studying this high-pressure centrifugal pump; it is planned to be used in a new project. If anyone has used it from a manufacturer, please share your experience.
I don’t know much about high-speed centrifugal pumps. Our organization has purchased a total of 4 centrifugal NH3 pumps and CB pumps from the Japanese company Ebara, with discharge capacities of 100 cubic meters and 70 cubic meters respectively.
Japanese pumps operate at around 6,000–7,000 RPM, while American pumps can reach 14,000 RPM – that’s what high speed really is
