I don’t know why all the heat tracing water traps in our factory went missing this winter. Not even on the main distribution desk. This is a method proposed by the design institute, but recently there have been occasional water hammers at the distribution desk on low floors. I wonder if this may cause short circuits in some pipelines or even water hammers due to different heat tracing resistances?
The heat tracing pipeline drain trap can affect the hydrophobic status of some pipelines. Removing it can reduce the resistance of the heating pipe and enhance the heat tracing effect. However, after it was removed, water hammer appeared on the bottom layer, indicating that the total transport capacity of the total drainage pipeline was insufficient, which affected the discharge of condensate.
