May I ask what the ventilation holes on the lifting ear pads on the equipment are and what they are used for?
It seems to prevent the formation of a sealed cavity between the pad and the equipment, and is used to balance the pressure. In case there is moisture in the sealed cavity and the pressure is too high after being heated, causing an accident.
Also, the gap between the cylinder and the backing plate needs to be vented during welding. If it is a reinforcing ring, it can also be used for leak detection.
