For these, you can consult ProII’s reference manual; under the section on thermodynamics, there are many explanations of various thermodynamic methods. If it’s truly impossible to understand, one can only go back and read textbooks on thermodynamics to see how to move from single-component systems to multi-component ones (the mixing rules); the mutual influences then represent the meaning of the binary interaction parameters. As for how to enter it, it’s indeed as you wrote: it’s basically that path. After opening it, depending on the thermodynamic method you choose, there is usually an option to view equations, allowing you to see how multi-component systems are calculated within the framework of thermodynamics. If the system has 2 components, only one set of values can be entered; for 3 components, 3 sets need to be entered. For 4 components, it should be 6 sets. However, with 4 components, it’s likely not possible to obtain all the binary parameters, so only the most important ones can be entered. How do I calculate this? I think it’s permutation and combination; choosing 2 out of N components.
