How to calculate the heat input of a heat exchanger
Q = ΔT * F * K
Q = G * Cp * (T1 – T2)
Q: Heat transfer amount, in W
ΔT: Logarithmic temperature difference, in °C
F: Heat transfer area, in m2
K: Heat transfer coefficient, in W/(m2*°C)
G: Mass flow rate of the material, in Kg/s
Cp: Specific heat capacity of the material, in KJ/(Kg*°C)
T1: Temperature of the material at the inlet, in °C
T2: Temperature of the material at the outlet, in °C
The above formulas can be used for calculation
