How is the price of steam determined?

The steam used in our refinery is priced in GJ units: 28.5 yuan per GJ at 1.0 MPa, and 33 yuan per GJ at 3.5 MPa. I’m not sure how other refineries settle their payments with their suppliers; is there any standard in this regard?

Many companies use a pricing system based on the cost per ton of steam, which is generally between 145 and 165 yuan per ton.

To determine the cost of steam, one needs to calculate it first. It’s probably around 140-160 yuan per ton.
