I’m facing a tricky problem: in a chloroform-based system, the equipment must meet medical and hygiene standards. Which components need to be selected – pumps, valves, seals (which need to have good elasticity; PTFE is not suitable)? The problem is that pumps and valves cannot use designs with sealing rings; instead, sealing rings of a different type must be selected for sealing other components. I hope fellow enthusiasts can provide some guidance
Consider using a magnetic pump or a shielded pump for the pump.
