With the advancement of drawing software, although PDS and PDMS come at high costs, they are still used in some applications, albeit not as often in routine tasks such as piping design； As far as I know, a large design institute in China uses these two software programs as part of the training for new employees. There is a saying that need equals value; therefore, I believe it is necessary to add sections dedicated to PDS or PDMS software. This is done both to raise awareness and promote its use, as well as to facilitate mutual exchange and learning, thereby helping everyone to improve – which is precisely the purpose for which this forum was created. Searching for PDS and PDMS yielded 407 and 336 topics respectively. They are located in the Chemical Engineering Software Exchange Area, the Piping and Valves Area, and the CAD Area, respectively. It seems a separate section should be created.
I support the creation of a dedicated area; all designs are currently done using this software, which helps to improve quality.
