As we all know, the condensate from final cooling is the most polluted. It is **prohibited from being discharged outside**. Our company uses sewage treatment. But it doesn’t work well. And it will affect the quality of other water as well.
It can be used in clarification tanks for treatment after clarification; most facilities employ this method.
The problem is that there’s too much condensate; it’s not possible for it to separate into layers like in a tar ship. It must be dealt with
After separation in the clarification tank, ammonia water is subjected to ammonia evaporation, and the wastewater resulting from this process can be used for wet quenching of coke.
Our factory uses the process mentioned on the 4th floor, and it has no impact on production
It’s a final cooling tower, not a primary cooling tower. The final cooling tower is installed in front of the benzene removal tower; the ammonia clarification tank you mentioned is where the condensate from the primary cooling tower collects
