How much is the temperature reduction in the acid tube?

The cast-iron acid return pipes (300mm) in our company’s dry absorption system are quite long – there are about 30 meters of such pipes before and after the anode protection system. This results in extensive maintenance work and frequent shutdowns, severely affecting production. The original use of such long pipelines was mainly due to the change from a pipe arrangement to anodic protection in the original design. I now want to shorten it to around 8m; I’m not sure what impact this will have on the acid temperature How much cooling effect will such a long acid return pipe have? (Our company’s sulfuric acid production capacity is 70,000 tons per year, with a suction area of 147 m2.)
Hehe, we’ve encountered this phenomenon quite often before, especially in the pipes near the acid cooler; those pipes located further away from the acid cooler have since been replaced with thick-walled stainless steel pipes.
