What is the difference between ETS and ATS?! Please explain in detail. Don’t just give a brief explanation!
The difference between the two is that ETS is the turbine emergency shutdown system; it triggers the shutdown of the turbine when abnormal conditions arise during its operation, causing it to stop functioning. ATS is a rapid switching device for plant power supplies. An ATS automatic transfer switch is a standard device for automatic switching between mains power and generator sets. When the system detects a loss of mains power and confirms this after a delay, it automatically sends a command to the generator set to start generating electricity ; Once it is confirmed that the generator set is generating power in a normal and stable manner, the system controls the mains/generator automatic transfer switch to switch the load to power supplied by the generator set ; Once the system detects that normal power supply from the grid has been restored, it can switch the load back to grid power, at which point the generator set shuts down automatically after a delay. Their functions are different.
