A lockhopper control valve refers to the outlet valve of the lockhopper, right? The options also include valves of 16 and 18 inches in size – those seem a bit too large. We use 14-inch valves, namely the 350 model, but they haven’t been put into use yet, so we don’t know how they perform.

We use 16-inch lockhopper slag locking valves, which have not been serviced in five years. We conduct annual inspections of the equipment’s wall thickness, and no thinning has been detected at the bottom of the lockhopper cone.
We have been in operation for less than two years, but the cut-off valve on the lockbox is leaking a bit.
The inlet of the lock hopper is DN400, while the outlet is 350. No damage was found at the base of the cone, but the valve often malfunctions!
Our check valves are DN300, and they fail quite frequently; there is often internal leakage in the valves
We are DH350, but after one year of operation, there is internal leakage in the valves, especially in the punching valves; now the first and second shut-off valves also have internal leakage
There’s a problem with your gauge; generally, lock-hopper valves start to leak internally after about a year, and after two years the thickness of the lock hopper is checked – if there are issues, welding is used to thicken it. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
