How does Aspen use case studies to adjust feed composition? Or can other tools in the model analysis tools be used as well? Also, I just want to change the mass fraction. Is there any way to do that? Thank you all! Also, I thought of using the total mass multiplied by the altered mass fraction and then applying mass-flow, but that would be too complicated. Is there a better way?
Changing only the mass fraction means that only the mass flow rate of the component you want to modify needs to be changed. I don’t use case studies often; sensitivity analysis can meet your requirements. When setting the variables, select type as \"mass-flow stream\", choose the feed streams you want, and select the components for which you want to change the mass fraction. You might give it a try – I think it works.
