I found it confusing when reading the section on vacuum pumps in HG/T20559-93, which states that if a check valve is to be installed at the suction port of a vacuum pump, it should be placed downstream of the shut-off valve. I’d like to ask experts: what is the purpose of installing it in this way?
You are referring to the piping of the inlet pipeline; generally, check valves are installed at the valves closest to the equipment, so this is the correct way to arrange the piping.
The settings on HG20559 are no pump, shut-off valve, check valve, and buffer tank. I’m not sure what the purpose of this setting is
