Can the total pressure drop in the low-temperature shift section with a 2.1Mpa saturated hot water tower achieve 0.5bar? It seems quite difficult to achieve, and I heard from experienced engineers that this is the operating condition in some factories. Won’t this increase the cost of the equipment? Moreover, there are many hot pipes, and the length of pipelines that must be used increases compared to those at normal temperature; all of this doesn’t it increase the system pressure drop?
1 bar is already quite good. It depends on the design.
It is generally difficult to achieve such a low pressure difference, but it is possible if there is a large discrepancy between the production load and the capacity of the equipment. If one compressor were used to replace three in order to adjust the air volume, the pressure difference would definitely be smaller
