Questions about the floor

A friend is renovating their new house, and I’d like to use this thread to ask whether it’s better to install laminate flooring or ceramic tiles; please give me some advice. The location is Xuzhou (in the Huanghuai region; it’s not in the south nor the north, but I personally think it’s a bit towards the north).
It depends on where you live In the north, laminate flooring is preferable, while tiles are sufficient for the south.
In the south, bathrooms and kitchens are generally tiled, while bedrooms have solid wood floors (no painting is required; the floor installer is responsible for laying them). There are living rooms furnished with both types of materials. On wooden floors, guests need to change their shoes; marble floors are much more convenient, but they can be too cold in winter (carpets can be used), and stone surfaces emit some level of radiation. However, in the north, due to heating indoors in winter, wooden floors tend to crack and warp. Take a look at what your friends around you are wearing; going with the crowd is always the right choice!
If there is underfloor heating, use laminate flooring; if not, use solid wood flooring. Tiles are used to cover the bathroom, kitchen, and balcony. Wallpaper is applied to the walls of the living room, bedrooms, and study. Buy a carpet and place it wherever you want. Hehe. The house is a place for rest and relaxation, so it should be furnished comfortably.

It seems that the most basic principle when choosing flooring is ease of cleaning. Some floor tiles leave stains after being mopped; just like when cleaning glass, it’s necessary to mop them dry first, which is time-consuming. It is recommended to buy some ink and sprinkle it on it, then use a cloth to test how easy it is to clean.
