On the samples provided by centrifugal pump manufacturers, can the nominal efficiency curves be achieved in actual operation? Has anyone carried out calibration, and what were the results? . .
Some achieve it while others do not; no calibration is required. Pumps come equipped with water test curves at the time of manufacture, and parameters such as flow rate, pressure, current, shaft power, efficiency, and useful power can all be calculated on-site. Just compare them with each other and you’ll know the answer, right? !
Generally, for pumps with low shaft power, the actual efficiency may be lower than the true efficiency
Generally, pump manufacturers provide the efficiency of pumps in the pump selection parameters table; it is not provided after the pump has been manufactured. Therefore, this efficiency can only be used as a reference. Efficiency determines the size of the motor power required; shaft power is divided by efficiency. Therefore, the actual efficiency of the pump used may be high or low.

Pumps with too low a power rating (less than 10 KW) have an actual efficiency that is much lower than what is specified in the factory data.
