For ammonia synthesis plants that use coal as a raw material, their design sometimes follows the \"Code for Fire Protection Design of Petrochemical Enterprises\", and sometimes it follows the \"Code for Fire Protection Design of Buildings\". However, the scope of application of the \"Code for Fire Protection Design of Petrochemical Enterprises\" is clearly specified: \"Article 1.0.2 This code applies to the fire protection design of new construction, expansion, or renovation projects of petrochemical enterprises that use petroleum or natural gas as raw materials.\" ” According to this, ammonia synthesis plants that use coal as raw material are not subject to this standard; then why is it still referred to in many cases? How do everyone understand it?
Applicable, fairly applicable \(^o^)/~. According to the explanatory notes, this standard is used in coal chemical industries; however, new standards are being developed for this sector, and it is expected that they will be put into use soon
