I’m using sep to simulate the desulfurization process simply, with the outlet being clean gas and acid gas. The acid gas is supposed to contain 95% H2S, 95% COS, and 0.15% CO2. I’ve set these split fractions for the acid gas, but I’m encountering an issue: “For each stream but one, split fraction or flow must be specified for at least one component in each substream.” What should I do?
As the original poster said, have you defined both the clean gas and acid gas streams at the outlet? It’s sufficient to define the composition of the components in one of these streams; the composition of the other stream will be clear automatically, so there’s no need to define it I tried it, and there were no problems!
The answer above is correct; for the sep model, it is sufficient to set one of the logistics components at x%, with the other component being 1-x%
0049 2# wuwawa Thank you~ I just defined one. There’s no problem when calculating separately, but issues arise once they are connected. I don’t know why; I’ll try adjusting it again.
It’s fixed; it turns out that for some components I thought didn’t exist, no definition was provided. All components in a logistics must be fully defined. It’s actually quite simple; I just held back for such a long time. Thank you all for your help!
