To insulate the cooling equipment from its supports, shims are required; what are the requirements for these shims? What material should be used to make it?
Our thermal insulation supports are made from the following two materials: 1. High-density polyethylene HDPV – density: 450 kg/m3, water absorption: ≤1.5 g/100 cm2, compressive strength (under 10% compression): ≥10 MPa, closed-cell content: ≥90%. 2. High-density polyisocyanurate Density: 350~450 kg/m3. The heat-insulating performance of these two materials is truly excellent!
