This post was last edited by kaminocmyhc on 2009-11-10 at 16:49. Generally speaking, sulfuric acid AN causes atmospheric corrosion in steel or concrete structures; our company uses epoxy sealing for anti-corrosion purposes, which provides an excellent barrier against gas-induced corrosion.
Sulfuric acid AN causes significant corrosion to carbon steel and concrete; especially when it absorbs moisture, it erodes the surface of buildings or steel structures, resulting in considerable corrosive effects. Using ordinary anti-rust paint can slow down corrosion, but the effect is not very good. Applying epoxy resin is a better method for corrosion prevention. For concrete floors, we lay soft PVC sheets on the surface, welding all the seams together to ensure no leaks exist; then a layer of cement is poured on top. This prevents sulfuric acid from corroding the concrete and rebar in the floor, thus ensuring the structural safety of the building.

For steel structures, using heavy-duty anti-corrosion coatings is ideal, while for concrete, insulation layers such as fiberglass-reinforced plastic are the best choice
