I have just installed a new atmospheric and vacuum distillation unit, in which the non-condensable gas from the atmospheric and vacuum sections is compressed by liquid ring compressors; the compressed dry gas then leaves the unit. I would like to ask for information regarding the daily operation of these liquid ring compressors as well as procedures for handling accidents. Thank you once again

It’s basically just a larger water ring pump! There are books, but no electronic versions
A liquid ring compressor is essentially a liquid ring vacuum pump; it is called a vacuum pump when used for vacuum creation, and it is called a compressor when there is back pressure at its outlet. We use 6 liquid ring compressors. Type SZ-2. More than a dozen 2SK-6 type liquid ring vacuum pumps were used. There is no difference between daily operation, management, and maintenance.
Just pay attention to the liquid ring, that is, the liquid that is injected; there really seems to be nothing else to consider. Generally speaking, such equipment operates quite stably

For liquid ring pumps, attention should be paid to the temperature of the cooling water; the lower the temperature, the better the stability.
