Please discuss if the heat exchanger tube side requirement is 1Cr18Ni9Ti, then what kind of materials should be used for its tube box, small floating head, tube plate and hook ring? Most of the tube sides of our company's heat exchangers are made of stainless steel, but there are two materials for the tube boxes (stainless steel and composite steel). I have also checked GB151 on the above issues, and it seems that it only mentions that the tube sheets can be composite boards. As for the tube boxes, there seems to be no special requirements. I think it is better to use stainless steel, which will be simpler to manufacture. If other materials are used, the manufacturing will be very troublesome.
It is very common for pipe box components to adopt composite panels or cladding structures, and our unit has designed many of them before. The specific situation depends on factors such as design pressure, temperature and pipe box wall thickness. If the thickness is relatively large (we generally think it exceeds 16mm), a composite plate structure should be used to save material costs.

Mainly refer to GB151, GB150 and capacity regulations, but the regulations will not make mandatory provisions on similar issues. This mainly depends on the individual designer. The design must be safe and reasonable, meet the requirements of the regulations, and at the same time consider the problem from an economic perspective. For example, our company has its own regulations. For stainless steel equipment designed, if the flange size is greater than or equal to DN150, priority should be given to using a loop flange or carbon steel lining stainless steel, in order to save money.
Composite board pipe boxes can be more economical, and I personally think they can be used, but you need to look at the specific working conditions.
