There is certainly no problem using foreign-made equipment for low-temperature methanol washing; China has already mastered the relevant process technology, so domestic equipment is also suitable for this purpose. Key equipment such as coil-type heat exchangers can be manufactured by many domestic factories, and methanol-poor liquid pumps can also be produced in China. The performance of these domestic devices isn’t fully known, but from the perspectives of safety and long-term operation, it’s more reliable to use imported coil-type heat exchangers and methanol-poor liquid pumps, especially in installations with high pressure levels.
