My Forgetful Husband 1. My husband’s forgetfulness is really extreme, especially in the morning; it really gives me a hard time. On Monday morning, not long after he left, my phone rang; it was him calling. He said he had left in a hurry and might have forgotten to close the door, asking me to get up quickly and check. We can’t be careless about this; what if a thief gets in? So I suddenly woke up, quickly got dressed and went outside to check, only to find that the door was firmly closed. 　　It was just a false alarm! I have no urge to sleep at all. 　　2. One morning, just as he had gone out, there was knocking at the door from outside. I had no choice but to get up and open the door; he said he had forgotten his keys. So I searched everywhere on the table and in the cabinets, but couldn’t find it. We all reached the entrance of the restaurant before he remembered that he had forgotten his voucher. Since I had vouchers, I didn’t bring that much money. There’s nothing to do but find a place to rest until he comes back home to get the tickets... It’s a drive of over two hours, and there are traffic jams along the way; this time he should learn his lesson!
