Heat transfer oil is difficult to clean thoroughly, and it is not allowed for cooling water that has not been cleaned properly to enter the circulating water system. More answers from you all. Due to the need for high-temperature heating, heat transfer oil must be used. However, this oil is only utilized for about a week, for the reduction of the catalyst. Once normal production begins, heat transfer oil is no longer needed for heating; instead, water is used to remove the heat from the reactor, as the reaction is highly exothermic. Half a year after production begins, the reactor is heated again using heat transfer oil, and this process is repeated; in other words, it is done once every six months for a period of one week, while water is used as the heat transfer medium at all other times. That’s why I’m asking about cleaning. Can heat transfer oil be treated in the same way as ordinary machine oil during cleaning? For newly manufactured reactors, the machine oil on their surface needs to be removed before use in order to ensure heat conduction. Can they be treated equally?
