I would like to ask if all stationary equipment requires equipment grounding? I couldn’t find any relevant specifications.
Not all static equipment needs to be grounded; equipment covered with soil does not require electrostatic grounding. Articles 4.1 and 4.2 of SH/T3097-2000 (Code for Design of Static Grounding in Petrochemical Industries) contain specific provisions. The original poster can search on the forum; there should be such a standard available. If you don’t say anything, I’ll send it to you.
Part 3 of SH/T3097-2000, the Standard for Design of Static Grounding in Petrochemical Industries, stipulates as follows: 3 Scope of static grounding 3.1.1 During production, processing, storage, and transportation, equipment, pipelines, operating tools, and human bodies may generate and accumulate static electricity, thereby posing static electricity hazards; in such cases, measures for static grounding should be taken. 3.1.2 When performing static grounding, attention must be paid to the grounding of the following components: 1 Conductors located inside equipment and that cannot usually be inspected from the outside; 2 Metal parts mounted on insulating objects; 3 Conductors used in conjunction with insulating objects; 4 Conductors insulated by coatings or powders; 5 Conductors that are prone to corrosion and may result in poor contact; 6 Conductors suspended on the surface of a liquid. 3.1.3 The grounding terminals of various static electricity eliminators shall be grounded in accordance with the requirements specified in the product manual. 3.1.4 Special static grounding measures need not be taken in the following cases (except for computers, electronic instruments, etc.): 1 When the metal conductors are electrically connected to grounding systems for lightning protection, electrical protection, stray current prevention, electromagnetic shielding, etc.; 2 When there is a tight mechanical connection between metal conductors such as buried metal structures, metal piping, and the rebar in buildings, and sufficient electrostatic conductivity exists between the metal contact surfaces under all circumstances; 3 When the metal pipe sections are under cathodic protection. In addition, Part 4 of the SH/T3097-2000 Standard for Design of Static Electricity Grounding in Petrochemical Industries specifies requirements 4.1 to 4.11 for 11 types of equipment and facilities, including fixed equipment, storage tanks, pipeline systems, railway loading docks and tank cars, as well as equipment for powder processing and storage and transportation. The Design Code for Static Grounding in Chemical Enterprises, HG/T 20675—1990, also specifies the technical requirements for the design of static grounding connection systems in such enterprises; however, the amount of information provided is limited. The relevant content is similar to that in the Petroleum and Chemical Industry Static Grounding Design Standard, SH/T 3097-2000. Please refer to those documents on your own.

All equipment on site is statically grounded! The general equipment category always includes grounding terminals, whether you need them or not.
All equipment needs to be grounded. Small devices require only one ground connection, but larger devices usually need two.
