May I ask if a gear mechanism can be used in the actuator of a ball valve?
The poster means the actuator, I guess. Actuators can certainly have gear mechanisms; for example, pneumatic actuators feature a gear and rack structure.
It can have gears, just as mentioned on the second floor. One of the types of actuator mechanisms is the toothed type
The actuator has a gear mechanism.
Does the poster mean adding a gear operation mechanism after installing the actuator, so that the valve can still be operated manually in case the actuator fails? Such a system does exist; if you need relevant information, feel free to contact me
