Forum highlight posts are an important part of a forum; whereas activities such as “One question per day” are very popular, the number of highlight posts is much smaller. Especially since 2009, the count of such posts has been even lower. Based on these observations, I have some ideas – though they may not be fully mature – for your reference only: 1. The number of highlight posts should be increased, and the criteria for selecting them should be relaxed. For example, topics related to industry trends, new manufacturing technologies, or solutions to operational challenges can all be considered as candidate highlight posts； 2. Establish a review system for high-quality posts, consisting of technical experts and moderators; this serves as an important tool for forum management and also provides strong support for improving the technical quality of posts ； 3. Relaxing the standards is not a way to meet minimum requirements; rather, it is done with the aim of organizing high-quality posts. Once a post is designated as an excellent one, it helps in organizing such high-quality content, allowing the forum to feature its best articles. It’s just a brief idea; please discuss and add to it, and offer suggestions regarding its implementation.
When helping AKZO organize materials in the categorized sections, there may be many similar posts; it might not be appropriate to organize them all. If one decides to do so, the requirements for the categorization are very high, and the workload is extremely large. If, when organizing materials, priority is given to the most valuable posts, it highlights the key points and also makes organization easier.
