We are in a region with winter heating; the air-conditioning temperature in the DCS control room is low. The workers suggest using steam for heating. I believe this approach is not suitable, but I cannot find any relevant regulations on this matter. I would appreciate it if everyone could discuss this and provide relevant evidence.
I don’t know; just install an additional air conditioner. Turn on the heating function, as long as the unit can handle it

It is recommended to install air conditioning in the DCS room for two reasons: 1) To meet the requirements regarding temperature and humidity in winter, for the benefit of both the operators and the equipment; however, heating systems can also fulfill these requirements. 2) Crucially, when the outdoor temperature exceeds 32°C in summer, natural ventilation is generally not suitable to ensure the proper operation of the equipment, so air conditioning is necessary.
