Liquid chlorine vaporizes very easily when heated; the temperature of its vapor is extremely high, and such uncontrolled heating is dangerous. Moreover, the pressure inside liquid chlorine cylinders is very high, so heating them in this way can easily lead to accidents! As for freezing, it is caused by the heat absorption that occurs when liquid chlorine vaporizes, which leads to the condensation of moisture in the surrounding air!
