By-product formic acid

Our company plans to launch a new project, and the by-product will be formic acid. I wonder whether it is more profitable to sell formic acid directly, or to produce calcium formate from it – experts, please give me some advice! !
Calcium formate yields high profits, but it requires additional investment, and the quality of calcium formate produced as a by-product is generally poor!
I’ve encountered this problem as well: there is 3–4% by volume of formic acid as a by-product, and I’m wondering how to make use of it. Could someone upstairs provide some guidance on the process for synthesizing calcium formate using a low-concentration formaldehyde solution? Are there any other applications?
Calcium formate is of high value, and it can be neutralized directly using calcium oxide. The key point is that at low concentrations, the evaporation rate can be high; let’s do the calculations.
If the formic acid content is below 50%, it is not very cost-effective to treat it as formic acid; it is recommended to invest another 80,000 to 100,000 to install a calcium formate production facility.
