Is it that project in Ordos to produce 3 million tons of dimethyl ether, carried out through cooperation between China National Coal Group, Sinopec, and other companies? I heard that they have been waiting for environmental impact assessments, safety evaluations, etc.; I’m not sure what the status is now . Note # ) # # , . hcbbs
I heard it’s a traumatic injury; there’s no way to heal it quickly.
It was originally 4.2 million tons of methanol and 3 million tons of dimethyl ether. It is said now that the product plan has been modified!
It’s true that the final product design will be modified again; it might shift towards olefins, haha
Spanning two years, it is said to have shifted towards olefins, but there has still been no latest news
The Zhongtian Hechuang Ordos Coal Chemical Project is a large-scale coal-chemical complex jointly developed by China National Coal Energy Group Co., Ltd., Sinopec Corporation, Shenneng (Group) Co., Ltd., and Inner Mongolia Manshi Coal Group Company. Initially, this project was designed to produce 3 million tons of dimethyl ether using coal as raw material; currently, it has been modified to produce methanol and its downstream products using coal as raw material, with the methanol production capacity being 3.6 million tons per year. The project has been launched; personnel are being drawn from the parent companies of the joint venture, and process technologies are being selected.
