When drawing piping diagrams, can elbows and tees be connected to each other? Thank you
It is not recommended; many design firms have their own minimum connection tables, and those should be used as a guide. I’ve seen design representatives here use them. If there’s really no other option, it can be used as a makeshift solution, but the result in practice will not look good.
If there are no valves on the branch pipes and elbows of the tee, it is possible to； If there is a valve that is connected directly to the branch pipes of an elbow or tee, then for DN80 and below, short pipes must be installed not only between the elbow and the tee but also between the valve and the branch pipes of the elbow or tee, in order to allow for the installation of bolts ； For DN80 and above, it can be connected directly without the need for a short pipe.
It’s probably not good; usually, a straight section of pipe needs to be added in between
