The construction of titanium materials requires attention to the following aspects: 1. Since titanium is an active metal that is highly sensitive to contact with iron ions, it is necessary not only to coat the surface of the titanium material but also to clean any cracks as well as the welding materials used; 2. Titanium is highly susceptible to oxidation; the purity of argon should generally be above 99.999%. In addition to ensuring argon protection inside the tube, it is also necessary to install a proper trailing shield at the welding tip to provide argon protection ; 3. When welding titanium materials, it is essential to pay attention to the interlayer temperature. The degree of oxidation that occurs after welding must be determined accurately by examining the color of the surface metal; any issues detected during welding should be promptly removed by grinding ; 4. The non-destructive testing standards for titanium materials differ from JB4730, which is commonly used for pressure pipelines; instead, national standards are applied, and this is often a point that is easily mistaken.
