Falls from heights in coal coking systems mainly occur on the second-floor platforms of coke ovens as well as in the lifting holes of belt systems. Additionally, failing to wear safety belts when working at heights can also lead to falls; the specific situations are as follows: 1. Lifting holes and other such openings lack railings or covers, and people may accidentally fall into them while walking. 2. On snowy days, the stairs freeze up, leading to slips and falls while going up or down them. 3. During maintenance work at heights of over 2 meters without guardrails, failure to wear a safety belt led to a fall from height. 4. Slipping and falling from heights while moving or working on the coke oven platform. 5. Falling from a height due to the vehicle not coming to a complete stop while performing tasks such as repairing the furnace wall on coke oven vehicles, dealing with small furnace nozzles, or adjusting springs.
I think dry quenching of coke is relatively high-risk; it involves steel structures, which are dangerous and prone to collapse accidents
When cleaning the air intake pipe, the railing is not secure and can easily cause a fall from a height.
