For pipes that are directly connected to the equipment outlet, their elevation is generally the same as that of the equipment outlet; it is sufficient to measure the level of the pipe. For pipes with a height difference relative to the device outlets, the length of the vertical pipe is generally calculated based on the difference in elevations; once the pipes are installed, their elevations will naturally meet the required standards. For pipes without reference nozzles, the 0.00 reference point determined during foundation construction can be transferred to the piping area using horizontal pipes or a level, and the calculation can be done based on the difference.
It’s about determining the height dimensions for equipment installation piping, with ±0.000m as the reference. This ±0.000m is based on the indoor floor level at the installation site; generally, the outdoor floor level is 200 mm lower than the indoor floor level.
For the piping in large-scale installations, especially regarding the elevation of the pipe networks, it is necessary to conduct altitude measurements for the entire installation area.
