A lot of information now introduces the full liquid level operation of the external cooler. I would like to know how the situation is at your place. Have you used the full liquid level? What are the advantages and disadvantages?
Set up a separator at the gas ammonia outlet of the external cooler to separate the liquid ammonia entrained in the gas ammonia and return it to the external cooler. This can not only increase the liquid level, increase the heat exchange area and heat exchange, but also requires a smaller investment. If the full liquid level design of some plants requires a higher investment, it is not cost-effective.
