What are “internal waste” and “external waste”? Thank you.
In casting production, defects are divided into external defects (pieces) and internal defects (pieces). External waste refers to defective products identified in locations other than the casting workshop (such as machining workshops, etc.). Internal waste refers to defective products that are identified by the casting workers themselves within the casting workshop.
