How is the zero position for the axial displacement of a centrifugal compressor determined? Thank you! !

The median of the total stroke volume should be taken as the zero point for shaft displacement.

As for determining the zero position of shaft displacement, I believe it’s fine to set it at the middle position or when the rotor is in tight contact with the main drive shaft as the zero point
