The yield strength of duplex stainless steel is twice that of 300 series stainless steel; this factor allows for the use of a thinner material to support the same load. Could you please advise on how to answer the part in red?
Like here means similar, the same meaning.

For similar loads, duplex steel can use thinner walls compared to 300-series stainless steels.
I think it means “equal” rather than “similar”.
