Our company currently has two ion exchangers for softening water. They worked fine at first; it took about four to five days for the water to need to be replaced once. Now however, it only takes two days. I’m not sure whether the resin inside needs to be cleaned or replaced, or if there is some other issue. I don’t know much about this, so I was wondering if anyone here could help me out?
Check whether there are any fluctuations in the pH level of the chemicals used for regeneration, the turbidity of the incoming water, and whether there are significant changes in the efficiency of the filters
Is it resin poisoning? First of all, what kind of ion exchanger are you using??
