What should one do if there’s a sick family member and work still needs to be taken care of?

Over the past six months, there has been a sick family member who needs to be hospitalized frequently. I’m also very busy with work, and it’s difficult to balance everything – staying by the patient’s side during hospitalizations hinders my work, yet there are many tasks that cannot be delayed. What should I do? ?

Work cannot be delayed, and the family also needs to be taken care of. Remember, this is the information age. During a break at work, call your sick family member to apologize (for not being able to go over) and explain the reason (being too busy with work). A greeting is worth a thousand words; I’m sure your family will also support you in your work... :)
Ask someone to stay with you in the hospital, a relative or friend, or spend some money on that
Spend some money to hire a caregiver. In our workplace, being a minute late is not allowed, let alone spending long periods of time with patients. Either take time off or hire a caregiver. Otherwise, if everyone in such a large company goes out because of personal matters, how can work proceed normally?

If financial conditions permit, one can quit their job to take care of their relatives full-time; but if those conditions are not available, can the headquarters expect good people to go hungry while providing care? There must be someone who is often sick in your family, my friend. Be realistic – it’s better to hire someone to take care of them.
Life is indeed precious; everything else can be sacrificed! It’s best to talk to the manager. An example that happened to me: A colleague’s father was hospitalized due to illness, so he was allowed to spend half a month by his father’s side; he could still be considered to have maintained full attendance, as his work could be done by someone else. If he were too busy, then it would be impossible for him to do so. Another thing is that my son took half a year off from work to stay at home and take care of his father’s medical treatment; in the end, he had to leave due to the illness. Life is short (we only have a few years to live), and it’s really not easy. Money isn’t the main issue – what’s important is to be healthy and safe. Do not be stingy with money; once a person is gone, everything becomes useless! You will regret it for life!
Greet the manager in advance; it might mean being late or leaving early, so let them know ahead of time. If work is really busy, one can only hire someone to provide care and go to the hospital more often oneself, but this must not affect work
